- Fit Check: Measure the umbrella canopy before ordering. Select Medium for most 8–10 ft. umbrellas or Large for most 10–13 ft. umbrellas.
- Routine Cleaning: Remove loose debris with a soft brush. Spot-clean the mesh and weighted tube using mild soap and cool water.
- Drying: Allow the net to air-dry completely before folding or storing. Do not store it while wet.
- Zipper Care: Keep dirt and sand out of the zipper tracks. Open and close the zippers gently without pulling on the surrounding mesh.
- Weighted Tube Care: Check the cap before use and inspect the tube periodically for leaks. Drain all water before storage or freezing weather.
- Weather Protection: Remove and store the net during strong winds, storms, snow, or extended periods of non-use.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
